Workshop on Amazon Web Services: AI Entrepreneurship in Cloud: Behavioral Recognition

The IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter successfully organized an industry workshop on Amazon Web Services: AI Entrepreneurship in Cloud: Behavioral Recognition The event took place in Zoom on 19 August 2021 at 9.00 AM (GMT+6.00). The event was organized in collaboration with the 10th International Conference on Informatics, Electronics, and Vision (ICIEV) & the 5th International Conference on Imaging, Vision & Pattern Recognition (IVPR).
The speakers of the workshop were Yoshitaka Haribara, Ph.D., a Startup Solutions Architect at AWS Japan, and Tatsuya Urabe, Ph.D., a Machine Learning Solutions Architect at AWS Japan. Prof. Atsushi Inoue, Mie University, Japan was the Chair of the session while Mohammad Rubbyat Akram, Industrial activity coordinator, IEEE CS BDC served as the moderator of the event.
In the workshop, the speakers explained how Cloud Computing can be used as an IT platform for innovation in Artificial Intelligence. The session was split into two parts. In the beginning, the speakers made a general introduction to AI in AWS Cloud and a few entrepreneurial cases. In the second part, they made a demonstration of AI in AWS Cloud related to Behavioral Recognition AI. As a whole, it was a comprehensive session combining AI, Behavioral Recognition AI, ML, Cloud, and a few entrepreneurial cases with live demonstration.
The chair of the conference, Prof. Dr. Md Atiqur Rahman Ahad along with a number of participants including students, academicians, researchers, and professionals from different Universities and relevant personnel from the educational organizations attended the event. Over 50 IEEE and non-IEEE members attended the workshop.
Executive committee members of IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter (IEEE CS BDC) Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Chair, Sajeeb Saha, Secretary, Md. Ahsan Habib, Student Activity Coordinator, Sujay Saha, the Graphic Designer of IEEE CS BDC, were present at the event.
