Call for Extended Abstract
IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter Summer Symposium (IEEE CS BDC WS) and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Space Communication and Navigation Technology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU) are going to organize the Summer Symposium in collaboration with IEEE CS BDC Youth Team SPARK. Since 2020 this Symposium had been a flagship event of the Chapter. The Symposium will be held online during 10-11 June 2022. The Symposium provides an excellent platform for the students, academicians, and professionals of CSE, EEE, IT, and allied fields from various universities, research institutes, and industries to share their ideas, discuss recent developments and research with eminent researchers and academicians. Participants will get an opportunity to leverage expert guidance, opinions, and insights to further improve their ongoing research. Undergraduate and Postgraduate students are encouraged to submit their preliminary research works, partial/final results of their research, or earlier published papers to extend the works during this mega showcase event. Abstracts will be published in a book of abstracts, without copyright and ISBN-number, by the IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter; that will be distributed among the participants during the symposium. Presenting in this symposium will not prohibit participants from publishing in any conference or journal.
IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter will feel obliged and honored if you would extend your kind support and cooperation by gracing the event and also encourage your fellow researchers and academicians, postgraduate and undergraduate thesis students to participate and submit their research works; as it will be an excellent opportunity for them.
The multidisciplinary tracks and themes for the Summer Symposium 2022 are listed below.

Track 3: Internet of Things (IoT) and Data Analytics
Track 4: Network and Security
Track 5: Signal Processing and Computer Vision
Track 6: Algorithms and Computation
Track 7: ICT in Satellite and Aerospace Engineering
Rules
- Only extended abstract will be considered, which is limited to one page with one or two references and one figure (maximum). Do not submit full papers.
- Early and ongoing research works are highly encouraged to be showcased in the Symposium.
- Research works already published within the time period October 2020 to September 2021 are also welcome for submission. It is expected that presentation in this mega showcase would help extend these works.
- The event is open for anyone interested in Research and Development (R & D).
- Each presenter will get 12 minutes (8 minutes for presentation and 4 minutes for question-answer/suggestion) to present their research and discuss their findings.
- IEEE CS BDC will NOT do “copyrighted archiving” of the submitted abstracts.
- Each participant will get an e-certificate.
- Upon request, IEEE CS BDC will be happy to provide appropriate supporting letters to the authors clarifying the no copyright policy of this Symposium.
- Participants can not get their presentation recordings from IEEE CS BDC.
