Seminar on Writing a Funded Research Project Proposal

IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter and IEEE CS BDC Team SPARK have successfully arranged the seminar on Writing a Funded Research Project Proposal on Saturday, 16 January 2021 at 7:30 pm through the zoom virtual platform. Prof. Dr. Md Abdur Razzaque, Professor, Dept of CSE, Dhaka University, Chair, IEEE CS BDC Ex-Com 2021 and Pro-VC, Green University of Bangladesh, delivered the keynote speech in the seminar. He focused on how and where to apply for national, international and IEEE grants in his keynote speech.

The main purpose of the webinar was to inspire for submission of well-written proposals for different grants. The keynote speaker said that an effective grant proposal increases the likelihood of getting funding for research projects. The seminar also covered the diverse elements of Research and Grant Proposal writing in an interactive and participative environment. Finally, the speaker answered various questions related to the funded research proposal writing.

Scholar researchers, students, academicians, and professionals from different Universities and organizations attended the seminar. Around 190 participants were present in the seminar. 

Executive committee members of the IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter (IEEE CS BDC), including Prof. Dr. Md Atiqur Rahman Ahad, Research Activity Coordinator, Sajeeb Saha, Secretary, Md. Ahsan Habib, Student Activity Coordinator, Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahaman, Publication Coordinator, Md. Samin Rahman, Publicity Coordinator of IEEE CS BDC and so on were present in the webinar.
