Geoff Douch is currently the General Manager – Asset Management at Counties Power where he is responsible for the engineering, asset management, design, programme delivery and control room activities of Counties Power. Prior to joining Counties Power in 2015 he held engineering and management positions at Wellington Electricity, Unison and Vector. He has a strong interest in improving public and worker safety through good asset management and operational practice through industry wide collaboration and standards, ensuring there are appropriate and effective regulatory outcomes for the industry, and also the training and development of people to meet the future needs of the industry.Geoff is also a member of the EEA Asset Management Group and is involved with a number of tertiary training initiatives. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering, a Graduate Diploma in Business, has completed the Advanced Management Programme at the Melbourne Business School and is a Member of the IET.
