IUS2018 Organizing Committee supports participants who need visas to visit to Japan.
IEEE’s guidelines for providing visa letters
Visa letters should only be issued to
- Committee members
- Attendees who have paid their registration fee in full.
Procedures for getting visa
If you need any help about invitation letters/documents for your visa application, please fill in a visa information form below. After receiving the visa information form from you, we prepare and send the letters/documents to you by EMS. It may also be necessary to verify that the requester has paid the registration fee in full.
You should submit a visa application form (see “A Guide to Japanese Visas“) and the letters/documents from us with your passport to the Japanese Embassy or consulate in your country. You will eventually get a visa in about a week.
We need your personal and stay information in Japan to issue the letters/documents. Therefore, please download the file “visa_information“, fill in the form, and then send us the file by e-mail directly with a scanned file of your passport (the page of photograph).
