organize technical or non-technical events around the globe for the betterment of humanity. In respect
of such scenario, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information technology Rahimyar Khan
is a well-known branch of IEEE. IEEE KFUEIT going to organize 2nd National Event named as “2nd
IEEE Bahawalpur Subsection Students/Young Professionals/Women in Engineering Congress” to
provide the latest technology trends to the students of this region. A three-day event is proposed which
is full of learning, entertainment, fun and much more which is neither organize as before in the history
of KFUEIT. This event contains Workshops, Seminar, Competitions, Exhibition of latest technology
and many other interesting things.

Seminar on “Future professionals & The Global World”:

15th January,2018.

On behalf of IEEE KFUEIT RYK, we are going to organize a seminar in KFUEIT with collaboration of Student Affairs department on the topic“Future professionals & The Global World”. This seminar is open for all students of KFUEIT, especially for Engineering students. Students must be trained in order to make intelligent decisions in future. This seminar will focus mainly on how students can get foreign scholarships, research grants and Emotional Intelligence.

It was an open session for students of all the disciplines of the university. The Basic Outlines of this seminar were:
• How much important Emotional Intelligence is for a healthy professional life and how to make best possible version of yourself.
• How students can get maximum foreign Scholarship and Research grants to pursue higher degrees.
• How to become the successful future Professionals by utilizing time efficiently to attain professional goals more proficiently.
Key note speakers for this interactive session were:
• Engr.Taqi Rahim
• ENgr. Waseem Mukhtar
• Engr. Ali Arslan
Who delivered very informative session to students. Worthy Dean, Engr. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Munir Ahmad, Director Student Affair, Dr. Abdul Shakoor and HOD Electrical Engineering Department, Engr. Fazal-ur-Rehman also joined this seminar as the Chief Guests.
IEEE KFUEIT Student Branch has shown commitment to organize more seminars/trainings and technical workshops for Professional and personal grooming and mentoring of students in future. As IEEE KFUEIT Student Branch has planned to host and organize 2nd episode of IEEE Bahawalpur Subsection Young Professional Women in Engineering Congress, which will the largest technical and social event, comprising of many technical and non-technical modules, in the History of KFUEIT.

General Meeting:


General members meeting was held to discuss future plans of IEEE, and planning & activities regarding upcoming IEEE BWP sub-section congress and organizational’s structure of IEEE KFUIT Student Branch under the supervision of Branch Councellor, Engr. Muhammad Bilal and Faculty Advisor, Engr. Maira Alvi. Branch Councellor guided the student members about how to plan and manage well organized event of congress by effective utilization of resources provided by university. Suggestions and inputs of members regarding planning and organizing the congress were considered and appreciated.

On 13th after a tough competition among 31 logos created by many students one logo was selected as the winner and was made the original logo of IEEE KFUEIT Student Branch.

The winner logo was from Ziad Khan from Computer Science department.
