IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is one of the largest international professional organizations dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests in a career in engineering.

History:

The formation of the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology Women In Engineering Student Branch Affinity Group in the Bangladesh Section was approved on 21 July 2016 with the geo-code SBA63101.

Our vision is to make our women members Strong, Pioneering, and Inspired. By organizing various Workshops, Seminars and Competitions we try to help our members to gain knowledge, experience, and networking capability which is very important for every engineer to enter into the endless existing network of digitalization.

We arrange monthly meetings, tours where the members get to engage themselves and understand the value of cooperation.

It is a self-sustained affinity group that is committed to its member to give them proper benefits and enhancement of their membership.
