A number of tutorials are available on line from IEEE, see (link). The IAS is preparing an extension of this offerings on topics of interest to IAS members, so more modules should be available soon. Applications for tutorial proposals are available here. To date for instance, there are 39 modules just on the subject of transportation electrification(*), on subjects ranging from electric machines to fuel cells and battery systems. Some tutorials presented at ECCE are also available for viewing on ieee.tv (past ECCE tutorials).
Distinguished lecturer program (for chapters):
In addition, the IAS sponsors a number of Distinguished Lecturers, who are available to travel to local IAS Chapter events. If you want to invite a Distinguished Lecturer to your location, see here for details. The IAS will subsidize the lecturer’s travel to your event.
Conference tutorials:
Many IAS conferences feature an extensive tutorial program. For North American members, many of these tutorials when offered on this continent provide CEUs (Continuing Education Credits).
(*) Note, if you are a member of the IEEE Transportation Electrification Community (TEC), you are eligible for a discount for on-line tutorials on the subject of transportation electrification. Membership to TEC is free for IAS members and requires only registration on the IEEE website, at: link.
