Travel Assistance Program

We are pleased to announce that the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) has established a travel assistance program to help students and young professionals attend the 60th IEEE/IAS Industrial and Commercial Power Systems Technical Conference.  The program consists of a limited number of awards in the amount of $1,000.00 USD that will be provided to the recipients after the completion of the conference.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Student applicants must be enrolled full-time in an electrical engineering program at an accredited University.
  • Young Professional applicants must be employed as an electrical engineer with less than three years’ experience.
  • All recipients must register for and attend the conference and stay a minimum of two nights in the Conference Hotel (The Embassy Suites at 4315 University Center Drive Las Vegas, Nevada, 89119).
  • All recipients must complete W-8/W-9 forms and submit them to IEEE to receive the award.

Schedule

  • Submissions are now closed.  Thank you to all who entered.
  • The submission deadline is February 5th, 2024
  • Award notifications will be sent out no later than February 19th, 2024
