IEEE WIE Victorian Section organised the third networking event of 2020 for the IEEE members (WIE and non-WIE members) on Building Online Profiles and the importance of building personal brand and what it takes to stand out from the crowd. We were honoured to host presenters from Academia and industry:

• Dr Ross McKenzie, the founder and CEO of The Startup Business.
• Mary Wright, Talent Acquisition Specialist in Telstra’s Strategic Sourcing Team.

In this online session, researchers and specialists shared the importance of having an active online profile and effectively using online platforms to showcase your work, connect to other like-minded people, and finding new opportunities.
