The Control Systems Society is dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practice of systems and control. Founded in 1954, the IEEE CSS has been at the forefront of control systems theory and technology for over 65 years. Its focus is to promote scientific, technological, and educational advancements in the fields of automatic control, decision making, theory, and applications, all over the world. Application areas include, and are not limited to, aerospace systems, automotive systems, communication networks, cyber-physical systems, manufacturing, micro/nanosystems, power grids, process control, robotics, smart communities, and systems and synthetic biology.

In Thailand, the IEEE Control System Society and the Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Association (ECTI) Control System Chapter are interesting groups in Instrumentation, Control, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics. The member of the IEEE Control System Society Thailand and ECTI-Control System Chapter are the faculty and researcher in several institutions, such as Chulalongkorn University, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT)-Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), and so on.
