Welcome to the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Singapore Chapter!

Established in 1984, our Chapter has been the largest professional development source for the power and energy engineering community in Singapore for more than three decades.

Our mission is to serve the PES community by empowering and educating them with the latest technological developments in the electric power industry. We aim to accomplish this through organizing various technical events, seminars, short courses, workshops, symposiums, and conferences on trending topics in power and energy sector. Apart from organizing and co-organizing technical events, we also conduct social and community events for our PES members providing excellent networking opportunities with industry leaders. Our scholarship and student award initiatives encourage and motivate many engineering students who wish to pursue careers in the field of power and energy.

We also closely work with other IEEE Societies, Chapters and Affinity Groups to conduct interdisciplinary programmes and events.
