Selection Criteria:

Professional Accomplishments and Leadership

    • Demonstrated excellence in professional achievements within the field of power and energy engineering, showcasing notable contributions and advancements.
    • Leadership roles held or significant contributions made to industry projects, research endeavors, or technical innovations.

Contributions to the Engineering Community and IEEE PES:

    • Engaged participation in IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) initiatives, committees, or events, demonstrating a commitment to advancing the society’s goals and objectives.
    • Significant contributions to the advancement of the power and energy engineering field through research, publications, presentations, or technical innovations, enhancing the knowledge base and driving progress within the industry.

Commitment to Diversity and Ethical Standards:

    • Active involvement in initiatives promoting diversity and inclusion within the engineering field, including mentorship programs, diversity committees, or outreach efforts.
    • Demonstrated commitment to upholding ethical standards in professional practice and decision-making processes.

Eligibility: Female IEEE member

Nomination Process: Interested PES members should submit a one-page application outlining their contributions along with letters of recommendation from peers, colleges or supervisors to the IEEE PES Singapore Chapter Chair https://site.ieee.org/singapore-pes/contact-us/ and the award sub-committee.

Applicants will be evaluated based on their demonstrated leadership, innovation, and impact, with priority given to those who exhibit exceptional qualities and contribute significantly to the power engineering field.
