Dear Students,
We are excited to announce a call for projects in some of the most important and trending domains in the field of engineering. We are looking for innovative and creative projects in the following areas:

  • Hardware:
  • We are seeking projects that involve the development of new hardware devices or the improvement of existing ones. This can include projects in areas such as robotics, IoT, embedded systems, and more. Some specific domains in this category can include autonomous vehicles, drones, and 5G networks.

  • Software:
  • We are seeking projects that involve the development of new software applications or the improvement of existing ones. This can include projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and more. Some specific domains under this category can include Web 3.0, AIML, natural language processing, and blockchain technology.

  • Humanitarian:
  • We are seeking projects that have a positive impact on society, addressing issues such as healthcare, environmental sustainability, and accessibility. This can include projects in areas such as assistive technology, renewable energy, and disaster management. Some specific domains under this category can include AI-powered healthcare systems, smart cities, and sustainable energy solutions.

  • UN Sustainable Goals:
  • We also encourage projects that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). These projects can cover a wide range of topics such as poverty, hunger, health, education, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, and more.

Selected projects will receive support from the IEEE Student Branch of New Horizon College of Engineering, including mentorship and resources. In addition to these specific areas, we also welcome inter-domain projects that combine hardware and software, or hardware and humanitarian aspects.
We encourage all interested students to apply, whether you are working on a project individually or as part of a team.

Selected projects will be given the opportunity to present their work at an IEEE sponsored conference, project expos and also a chance to compete with peers, apply for funding etc.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact

  • Dr. Rajesh G - IEEE Student Branch Counselor at rajesh.gundlapalli@ieee.org
  • Peerzada Anzar Azmat - Chair, IEEE Student Branch at peerzada.anzar@ieee.org

We look forward to reviewing your exciting and innovative projects!

Sincerely,
IEEE Student Branch of New Horizon College of Engineering
