Recap: IEEE BBQ

In coordination with the HKN (the IEEE Honors Society) and SWE (Society of Women's Engineers) we carried out a BBQ at Lower Bidwell park. We had grilled burgers and hot dogs as well as some chips and cookies. I would say it made for a great Labor Day weekend.

This Day: 2019 UCLA MicroMouse Competition

This day summer of 2019 the Chico State MicroMouse team competed in the 2019 UCLA MicroMouse Completion. Here the team members Robert Goldansky, Michael Musick, and <add other members> collaborated to develop a autonomous robot to navigate a randomly generated maze. This robot came to be known as Rat Brain. With the sum of their efforts they were all able to succeed and surpass the rest of the teams, those being colleges in the UC system including UCLA. Thus making Rat Brain the top preforming robot.

Congratulations again to the MicroMouse team of 2019! And may we be able to carry out the legacy that you have started.

If you are interested in participating in the current MicroMouse team you can find more information here: CSU Chico MicroMouse
