We were so excited this last Saturday, March 9th, to hold the robotics lab for Imagineer Day. It is an event on campus that shows students K-9th grade about the different engineering fields available. We held the lab for kids in 7th and 8th grade. We showed them how to design, program and implement a simple moving robot. We had so much fun and our groups created amazing projects!
We are so excited to spend a Friday with all of you eating pizza and seeing who’s going to win the IEEE prize!
Our officers enjoyed a night of bowling together! This club has truly created the best group of friends!

Some of our clubs here on campus are inviting all of you to a BBQ in lower Bidwell Park! The three engineering clubs IEEE, LTC and SWE will be hosting it. We will be serving hamburgers and veggie burgers for everyone! Come hang out or find out more about our clubs
We need you to RSVP so we can get a count of everyone coming. Please RSVP by Friday afternoon at 1pm. This is open to everyone so please bring a friend and rsvp for them too! We are having a cornhole tournament where we will match up teams and the winner will get a gift basket!

IEEE, SWE, LTC
All IEEE members are asked to come to our next general meeting. It will be in OCNL 254 at 5:15pm on September 24th. We will have the projects decided and you can sign up for which ones (if any) you would like to be a part of this year. We will also be discussing any fundraising ideas for IEEE professional memberships. We may also have workshops or lecture dates set up, so bring your calendar! Also, bring any questions you may have about this club, or suggestions of anything we can help you with.

We are holding our first introductory meeting on September 10th at 5pm in OCNL 254. All engineering majors are welcome to attend! At this meeting you sign up to be an IEEE member, join project groups, share project ideas, ask questions, meet your peers and have some snacks. We want everyone to become members so bring a friend to meet our officers and get some insight into getting the most out of your time at Chico State.
