On October 11, 18 and 25, Dr. Ronald Barazarte (Professor at the Technological University of Panama) gave us a technical course entitled “Introduction to the simulation of power electronic converters“. This activity was a collaboration between the Societies PES and IAS; it took place at UTP’s Campus Victor Levi Sasso. ___________________

Last Tuesday April 8th, Dr. Enrique Acha (Professor at the Technological University of Tampere, Finland) gave a lecture to the members of the PES Student Branch of the Technological University of Panama as well as the general public, his presentation “Current research regarding harmonics in PV power plants” as part of his visit to Panama as a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE.
