Campus Site Lighting Concepts on Research Agenda Teleconference September 2nd
https://standards.ieee.org/develop/project/3001.9.html
Status update per Steve Townsend, Chairman of the 3001.9 project:
“We are still in the process of kicking off the joint document effort with IES. At this point we reviewed the 3001.9 table of contents and at the next meeting in late September both groups are planning to provide a list of the working group members that would be working on the document….We are planning to remove the existing PAR and submit a new PAR for a Joint IES / IEEE document.”
Recommendations from E&H focused primarily on best wiring practices, and resolving safety and economic complexities when campus site lighting systems overlap with, or leave gaps in, municipal, private or utility owned lighting systems. More discussion during tomorrow’s teleconference.
