Manitoba Space Adventure Camp 2011
The Manitoba Space Adventure Camp is a camp for grade 9—11 students interested in science, space, engineering—and all things exploration! Camp programming will focus on aerospace, physics and flight with hands on activities and exciting demos!
UofM Capstone Project Awards 2011
Congratulations to the recipients of the 2011 IEEE Capstone Design Project Awards from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Manitoba.
IEEE Winnipeg Section – June Meeting
This is a monthly meeting of Section, Chapter, Affinity Group representatives to discuss business of the IEEE. It is is open to to any IEEE members that are interested in becoming more involved.
UofM ECE Department Seminar
This seminar reviews and summarizes exciting new animal and clinical data, including research from the Dr. Albensi’s lab, that support the development of neurostimulation for seizure disorders.
PES Chapter Luncheon – May 2011
This presentation will explore the concept of dynamic phasor and how it is used to model the AC network dynamics. The application of this technique is demonstrated for analyzing the interactions between (a) two nearby HVDC converters and (b) torsional interactions between the generator-turbine unit and the AC network.
