RAS Tunisia Chapter organized a try engineering session on December 2nd, 2017, Gabes. The workshop intended for pre-university students, parents, teachers, school counselors, and the general public, TryEngineering.org lets visitors explore how to prepare for an engineering career.

Xdays’2017 is a major technical event happening in the Southeast of Tunisia, the event is organized by ISIMG, the Research Team on intelligent Machines-ENIG and the X’days organization. Xdays is 3 days activities focusing on robotic competitions, challenges, workshops, and tutorials… The 2017 edition took place from the first to third of December 2017.
As part of this event, RAS Tunisia Chapter arranged its well known “Getting starting with Arduino” tutorial.

IEEE RAS TUNISIA CHAPTER participates in IEEE ISIMA SB OPENING CEREMONY by getting introduced to IEEE and IEEE RAS presentation with a focus on IEEE students benefits on the 8th of November 2017 at ISIM MAHDIA, TUNISIA.

In Collaboration with RAS Tunisia Chapter, the robotics club of the Institute of informatics and multimedia of Gabes and the research unit “Research Team in Intelligent Machines of ENIG”, are organizing a seminar entitled “Why joining IEEE”. This Seminar takes place on Wednesday 01/11/2017 at the Institute of Informatics & Multimedia of Gabes from 13:45 to 15:15 and is led by Nizar Rokbani IEEE SM & CHAIR of IEEE Robotics & Automation Society Tunisia Chapter. In this workshop,  you are introduced to IEEE for a better understanding of the organization, its fields of interests and also the benifices offered to its members. A special Talk is dedicated to one of the prestigious IEEE Societies, the Robotics & Automation Society which Focus is on both applied and theoretical issues in robotics and automation. Robotics is here defined to include intelligent machines and systems.

This Seminar takes place on Wednesday 01/11/2017 at the Faculty of Sciences of Gabes from 15:30 to 17:00 and is led by Dr. Nizar Rokbani (CHAIR, IEEE Robotics & Automation Society Tunisia Chapter).

This workshop runs typically in 2 hours it is a “Getting starting with Arduino” tutorial and is part of the open robotics tutorials arranged by RAS Tunisia Chapter for its members. This session is Co-organised by ISSAT Sousse SB and ISSAT Sousse RAS Student Chapter. Basics of C and electronics are needed. The workshop covers: Introduction to open hardware Arduino Uno Board, Managing the Arduino IDE, Logic inputs/outputs, Analog inputs, Sensor integrations.
