The EPI-Robots competition and workshop is a technical and social event dedicated to the robotics in Tunisia. The event aims to show success stories about made in Tunisia robotics products essentially in the field of service and educational robotics.

This meeting is organized by RAS Tn to discuss shared tracks and the process advancement.

March 23rd, 2018

Robotics for democracy is RAS powered program aiming to promote access to Robotics in Tunisia Rural Schools underdeveloped regions.

  • Give them a chance to meet robotics and to get introduced to educational robotics new technologies
  • The program includes several training sessions for educators so that they can spread the educational
robotics activities with their pupils, and then make them competing in Robotic Challenge.

IEEE RAS Tunisia Chapter will organize a technical Workshop entitled “Build Your Own Robot” for primary school educators.  At the end of this workshop, educators will be able to build their own robots using an economic board such as Arduino.

Nabeul workshops held at Crefoc-Nabeul on March 22 & 23, were the kick-off meetings of the program.

Robotics for Democracy Initiative: Robotics for democracy is RAS powered program aiming to promote access to Robotics in Tunisia Rural Schools underdeveloped regions.

  • Give them a chance to meet robotics and to get introduced to educational robotics new technologies
  • The program includes several training sessions for educators so that they can spread the educational
robotics activities with their pupils, and then make them competing in Robotic Challenge.

Robotics for Democracy Initiative Goals :

  1. Impact educational system in poor schools by organizing a several Robotic Activities based on
    low-cost platforms like Arduino
  2. Develop children skills in Robotics and teach them how to compete and get certified
  3. Stimulate young people to get involved with technology
