Nominations are screened and reduced to a short list by a review committee consisting of distinguished researchers in Sweden, appointed by the IEEE Sweden VT-COM-IT Joint Societies Chapter.
The short list of nominated papers in both categories is submitted to the an International Awards Committee of the Chapter that makes the final decisions. If no nominated paper is considered to be of award-winning quality, a winner will not be selected.
