Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS)
IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) is the world’s largest international society of biomedical engineers. The organization provides its members with access to the people, practices, information, ideas and opinions that are shaping one of the fastest growing fields in science. EMBS members are interested in bioinformatics, biotechnology, biomechanics, clinical engineering, information technology, instrumentation and measurement, micro and nanotechnology, radiology, and robots. They are researchers and educators, technicians and clinicians – biomedical engineers are the link between science and life science, creating innovations in healthcare technology for the benefit of all humanity.
IEEE EMB Student Clubs
IEEE EMBS provides members with the opportunity to network at a local level through IEEE EMB Student Clubs. If you are an IEEE Student Member interested in joining the Knowledge Community of EMBS, you can add IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Membership to your standard IEEE Membership for $3(=2,83€).
Our student branch has renewed the EMB Student Club (2022). The specific club is already active and it is also known that despite of some events which has been done so far, it is going to do much more! It has also its own social media (Instagram page, etc.)
It is important to be noticed that each of its events, will be announced both in the Website of our IEEE Student Branch and in the social media of EMB Student Club, too. So, stay tuned!
