IEEE Awareness Week [April 10–13, 2016]

IEEE KFUPM chapter is aware of the fact that active participation of students is the key to successful organization of events and eventually becoming an effective student body. To get attention of the students, it is most important to spread the awareness. Arranging an awareness week is the major step in this regard.

From Sunday to Wednesday, an opportunity was provided to KFUPM students to meet our representatives at key locations of the university. Response of the students was encouraging as many of them get them registered for IEEE international membership. An introductory brochure was distributed. Registration request form was filled by interested students. Though the banner of IEEE does not require a lot of introduction due to its already well-established fame, but this awareness week really helped the students of Junior Year to get them acquainted with the name of IEEE. Details of timings, dates and locations are given next.
