IEEE Richland Section is excited to host the 2024 IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) International Leadership Summit (ILS) on August 2:
We invite you to join us at the IEEE Region 6 Women in Engineering (WIE) International Leadership Summit (ILS) on August 2, 2024 at Discovery Hall, at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in Richland, Washington. PNNL is one of only ten locations worldwide selected to host the prestigious event. In 2019, PNNL hosted the event, which attracted nearly 400 attendees from academia, industry, and national laboratories — it was hailed as a huge success by IEEE.
The International Leadership Summit serves as a valuable platform for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including women in STEM, to enhance their skills and forge meaningful connections with like-minded professionals. The overarching theme “Charting Your Course,” seeks to empower today’s trailblazers to become tomorrow’s change makers. The event will offer a dynamic and immersive experience featuring inspiring talks, engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops, valuable networking opportunities, and more.
In addition to attending this inspiring and empowering event, you are also encouraged to submit posters highlighting cutting-edge technologies and innovative policies. The poster session offers ILS attendees the opportunity to connect and exchange insights into their research endeavors. The IEEE Richland section will honor the most outstanding poster with the Best Poster Award. Students, post-bachelors, post-masters, and post-doctorates are encouraged to submit an abstract on a related topic for the poster session.
