2017 ISGT-LA Student Travel Award

The ISGT-LA 2017 seeks IEEE PES student members to submit applications to the ISGT-LA Student Travel Award 2017. The application deadline is June 15, 2017.

It is an event where students have the opportunity to listen to experienced engineers and trajectory on topics of interest in their professions.
It is organized by the student branches of the IEEE.

Purpose:

The ISGT-LA Student Travel Award 2017 has been created to help students pay for the costs of traveling and attending the Smart Grid 2017 Innovative Technology Conference to be held in Quito, Ecuador, from 20 to 22 September 2017.

The grant:

The ISGT-LA Student Travel Award 2017 covers:
- Students from Quito – Ecuador:
  - Early registration of the student conference (full conference, technical sessions only, $ 150 for undergraduate students or $ 250 for graduate students).
- Students from provinces of Ecuador:
  - Early registration of the student conference (full conference, technical sessions only, $ 150 for undergraduate students or $ 250 for graduate students).
  - Assignment limited to $ 150.
- Foreign students:
  - Early registration of the student conference (full conference, technical sessions only, $ 150 for undergraduate students or $ 250 for graduate students).
  - Assignment limited to $ 150.
  - Travel expenses limited to $ 400.

The grant is administered by ISGT-LA LOC 2017.
All refunds are later! Travel, assignment and registration fee will be processed with standard financial forms (expense report / transfer request form) by 2017 ISGT-LA LOC during the Conference. Travel expenses include items such as airfare, taxi, bus, visa, etc. Conference excursions and tutorials are not refundable.
Receipts are required for reimbursement.
Payment in advance will not be provided.
