Energy Use Archive

Abstract: Today, nearly 1.2 billion people lack access to electricity. The global goal of achieving universal electricity access in developing countries requires substantial input from IEEE engineers. One ongoing challenge is the lack of available data-sets to support the development of technological solutions for electricity access scenarios. Without empirical data, assumptions are needed which limit the relevance, comparability, and accuracy of any results.  The Energy Use archive seeks to fill the gap in availability of such data-sets to assist engineers, researchers, project developers, and development practitioners improve our understanding of this vital area.  This repository is a living archive, new data sets will be added when they become available.
