ELECTRICAL SAFETY WORKSHOP COSTA RICA 2019
Welcome to the 1ST Latin American Electrical Safety Workshop Costa Rica 2019 (ESW). This will be hosted by the IEEE Costa Rica Section and the Professional IAS Costa Rica Chapter in the Hotel Wyndham Herradura San José on May 22 to 24, 2019.
This workshop is organized with the aim of offering to the different participants the opportunity of taking the most out of the event. In this web site are listed the activities for both companies and participants. Check the different sections for more information. If you wish to participate as a speaker and be part of the presentations, with a 15 minutes or 45 minutes length, please check the details in the Calls for Papers section.
For those companies interested in reaching the Central American market, the workshop has a 3-day Trade Show starting on Wednesday 22 at 2:30 PM until Friday 24 at 5:00 PM. The Trade Show is going to be presented at the Hotel’s Convention Center using the “La Paz” meeting room. The Plenary Sesion is going to be hosted on La Paz A, while the north lobby is going to host the Trade Show.
For those who would like to explore the country, the organization offers tourism packages with activities before or after the event. Among the planned activities, we offer 2-day or 3-day trips to the most important beaches in the country, as well as different excursions to explore the mountains and forests of Costa Rica. Please look in the Tourism Section of this website for more information. If you want to make an activity of participate in an excursion that is not mention in the Tourism Section, please go to the Contact Section and let us know how we can help you to fulfill such activities. For those who can only assist during the ESW sessions, a complementary program is going to be available with activities for the companions to let them explore the country.
Costa Rica does not has an army, and it has one of the lowest crime rates in Latin America. The country posses a well establish tourism platform and a network of public institutions that look after the wellness of both residents and visitors.
