If you’re graduating this year, now’s the time to start thinking about your next steps as a young professional. The Winnipeg IEEE GOLD is hosting an Interview Skills Seminar, lead by Lauren Au of Manitoba Hydro International Ltd., to help ensure that you make the most of your career opportunities.

Lauren Au, MHI Human Resources Coordinator

Speaker Bio:

Lauren Au is currently the Human Resources Coordinator at Manitoba Hydro International Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manitoba Hydro. She obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Human Resource Management and Marketing and her Bachelor of Arts in Labour Studies and Psychology, both from the University of Manitoba. She received her Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation from the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations in December 2011. As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Au helps in the recruitment and staffing initiatives of the organization such as determining the needs for a particular job as well as evaluating applications and conducting interviews for potential new hires. Currently, she volunteers as a contributing member on the Human Resources committee for the non-profit organization, the Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts, as well as a member of the Human Resource Management Association of Manitoba.
