Abstract:

In this workshops participants will learn about the Arduino UNO development board, and the Arduino IDE. They will be guided through a series of tutorials to turn LEDs on/off and how to read inputs from a pushbutton.

Participants will use an Arduino UNO during the lab and have the option of purchasing the unit for $30 to continue experimenting at home.

Refreshments will be served from 5:00pm-6:00pm in E1-514 EITC (IEEE Lounge).

Pre-Requisites:

Some programming experience required.

Registration:

$5 for IEEE student members per workshop
$10 for non-members per workshop

Only 20 spots available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
