Abstract:
UMIEEE is proud to present an information session on the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba. In this session, students will learn about electives, options, and what to expect from the department. The presentation includes a short tour to see where the labs are located and the IEEE student lounge and lab. Snacks and beverages provided.
Speaker Bio:
Kathryn Marcynuk served as the University of Manitoba Engineering Society (UMES) Vice-Stick Academic from 2009-2011 and has been the undergraduate representative to the ECE Department Council and Computer Engineering Curriculum Committee for 3 years.
Frank Serafin is the UMIEEE Chair for 2011-2012.
