Tiffany Gasbarrini is Senior Editor for Power, Energy and Sustainability Engineering at Springer Nature, one of the largest scientific, scholarly, professional and educational publishers in the world.
Ms. Gasbarrini has spent 15 years building celebrated portfolios of books and journals for renowned international publishing houses in a diverse array of Engineering disciplines, from Computer Graphics and Microelectronics, to Renewable Energy and Green Building. She is founding publisher of Springer Nature’s forthcoming Women in Engineering Series, which champions the pivotal work of women developing cutting-edge technological solutions to humanity’s grand challenges. Her books have won international acclaim from governing bodies and NGOs including the UN, the World Resources Institute, and the International Energy Agency. Her authors are distinguished scientists, celebrated educators, and award-winning engineers from around the globe.
Ms. Gasbarrini received the 2014 Renewable Energy Pioneer Award at the World Renewable Energy Congress in London, is an active member of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), the IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES), the International Solar Energy Society (ISES) and the World Renewable Energy Network (WREN). She is a proud supporter of the IEEE-PES Women in Power Initiative, Women in Solar Energy (WISE), and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). She developed the interdisciplinary BA in Women and Literature at Mount Holyoke College, from which she graduated in 1999.
