Ernesto Salcedo
Secretary
Hello! My name is Ernesto, I am a first generation Latino Engineer coming from humble beginnings. Growing up I lacked positive influences in my life, but I worked hard to create my own path. A significant impact in my life was joining IEEE at CSU-Sacramento. From IEEE I was able to participate in the micro mouse competition and be a part of IEEE Rising Stars. Through IEEE I gained interest in control systems, robotics, programming and machine vision. Now I am happy to say I am working on a robotics product in the medical industry. I continue to work hard toward my goals and appreciate the positive community IEEE has been for me.
