Student Transition and Elevation Partnership(STEP) 2019
IEEE Bombay Section & IEEE Bombay Section Young Professionals Affinity Group conducted Student Transition Elevation Partnership (STEP) on 2nd March, 2019 at Thakur College of Engineering & Technology (TCET), Mumbai.The STEP program assists student members as they graduate and elevate to higher levels of IEEE membership. A total of 52 participants attended the event.
- Students were able to understand the importance of IEEE Membership and Networking.
- They were able to form connections with students of other branches and YP members across the section which will help them down their career paths
- They came to know about the various funding and scholarship opportunities for students and YP members.
- They realized how IEEE helps in bridging the gap between colleges and industry.
- They have been associated to better volunteering opportunities as a student now.
Bombay Section SAC General Meeting 2018
This meeting was conducted on the 5th August,2018 at Sandip Institute of Technology and Research Center. The objective was to discuss and plan the agenda of activities to be conducted across various divisions for the coming academic year.
Industrial Visit SP-TBI
An industrial visit to Sardar Patel Incubation Center was conducted on the 1st September,2018. The objective was to educate the children about startup culture in India. The students got a hands on session on tools like 3D Printer, VR and AR gadgets.
Women in Engineering Meet 2018
This meet was conducted on the 7th September, 2018 at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Andheri, Mumbai
The objective was discussing about the benefits to open a WIE Chapter in your Branch and the various funding and
scholarship opportunities that are offered to the students who are WIE members.
Mumbai Division Branch Counselor and Admin Committee Meeting
The meeting was conducted on the 6th October, 2018 at Vidyalankar School of Information Technology, Wadala East, Mumbai.
