BLOCKCHAIN WORKSHOP
                         Title of the workshop: You Too Brutus (Vibhishana):

With the merging of the physical and digital world, trust is a rare luxury to have. Dating back
to days of Ramayana where Vibhishana revealed the secrets of Ravana, till the Roman
Empire. Julius Caesar died telling You too Brutus, exemplifies that trust determines the
solidarity of a system. In the present digital age, where “if it’s not digital then it does not
exist” era the security of the system is of paramount importance. This workshop intends to
cover the basic principle of Zero Trust Architecture/Networks and explore how it can be
achieved to keep our data and services secure. The session will cover blockchain as a
technology and its significance in the data privacy aspect of the Zero Trust Network. It will
then share details on how blockchain works out in the industry with a few use cases. The
audience will benefit by learning the fundamental principles of DLT (Distributed ledger), CA
(Consensus  Algorithm) and ZTN (Zero Trust Network) with industry perspectives

Speaker Bio:

Subodh Gajare
Senior Architect – Service Provider, IoT and AI/ML – at Cisco R&D center (Blore) Core
experience (15 years at Cisco):
Platform Development, testing, validation, designing troubleshooting and developing
solutions across technologies.
Designing and implementing solutions for global customers – based on SDN/NFV, IoT,
Mobility (3G to 5G transformation), Security, Virtualization, Cloud and designing s/w
Orchestration platforms for end-2-end management of networks.

Subodh contributes as Research Mentor for incubating Cisco IoT industry solutions – in
Digital Manufacturing, Smart Cities, Health care, Education, Energy, and Transportation. He
works as an advisor for grooming future Technical leaders/Architects in Cisco. He is a
mentor for Cisco Startup program (Launchpad) and contributes by incubating 5 start-ups
every year
