Well, combine the two and we have Open Sourcing!
Open Sourcing is the event for you if you love solving problem statements. Grab the components, read the problem statements and give us the best solution for the questions.
1)Each team will consist of two members.
2)The event is based on basics of Arduino. The teams will be tested on their knowledge of Arduino interfacing, programming and logical thinking.
3)Usage of internet is not allowed.
4)One laptop per team is required, to be brought by the participants.
5)Arduino and the necessary components will be provided.
6)Team members are advised to download arduino IDE and supporting libraries if required.
7)The events consists of 8 questions and a special bonus question which carries more points compared to the rest of the questions.
8)If the team feels that they have gotten the right answer, they have to call a volunteer and show the result. Only if the volunteer/organiser is satisfied, they will be awarded the points for the question. Unless reviewed by the volunteer/organiser, the answer will remain invalid, even if it is right.
9)The team that has answered the most questions in the least amount of time wins. The Top two teams will be awarded with prizes
10)Expenses will have to be borne by the team if they damage any component/lab equipment.
11)The Organisers’ decision is final.
