 Open Mic

Open mic involves :

Story telling– Telling perspective from one’s mind.

Slam poetry – is a form of poetry that involves elements of poetry, story telling, performance and and competition involving live audiences.

Stand up – A comic style, doesn’t use any props or sketch, involves performing in front of a live audience.

 

♦♦The event will be conducted in two rounds- prelims and finals.

 

General themes for prelims will be released 24 hours prior and topics for finals will be announced upon qualification. And an approximate of 3 minutes is allocated to each participant in each round. 

 

Rules and regulations:

  • Individual event
  • Judging to be based on content, audience engagement, skill based on format 
  • Any matter found to be particularly demeaning/offensive would lead to disqualification
  • In case of any discrepancies, the judge’s decision shall be final.
