Rules and Regulations
- Event is open for everyone.
- It's a team event with each team consisting of minimum 3 and maximum 5 members.
- Each team must build and bring a wired/wireless robot that has a mechanically operated marker.
- 2 teams will be given a similar crossword containing 10 jumbled words related to SPACE TECHNOLOGY.
- Both the teams will be given a time of 8 minutes.
- The team members must use the bot to solve the crossword by operating it by the controller and use the marker to mark the words.
- Use a black marker operated by the controller.
- The crosswords will be different for every two teams to ensure no repetition of word patterns.
- Once the robot is kept on the crossword, it can't be touched again by the team member.
- Maximum number of team registrations :20
Robot Rules
- No boundation on the dimensions of the robot.
- The chart paper will be an A1 chart paper of dimensions 841mmx594mm.
- The robot can be controlled wirelessly as well as with a wire, whichever is preferred by the team.
- Once the robot is kept on the crossword, it can't be touched again by the team member.
Judging Criteria
- It's an elimination round system so every winning team proceeds to the next round.
- The team that marks the most number of words in the given time qualifies for the next round.
- In case both the teams mark the same number of words in the given time, the team which marks the most difficult words will be declared as winner.
- In case 1 team solves the crossword before the time runs out, that round will be declared as over and that team will proceed further.
