Rules and Regulations
- The event takes place in 2 rounds where the first round is a debate and the second round is pick and speak.
- The topic for the debate will be given the previous day of the event.
- Teams of 2 where one speaks for the topic and the other against the topic for 3 minutes each.
- The participants can question the other teams after everyone has finished their talk.
- Qualifying teams move to the next round where the participants pick up topics randomly from a list prepared topics.
- Participants will be given 3 minutes to prepare and 60seconds to talk.
- Use of phones(internet) is not permitted for round 2.
- Any kind of malpractice will lead to disqualification.
- Decision of IEEE RITB is final in all matters.
Judging Criteria
- The content of the talk.
- Exploration of the topic in a different perspective.
- Spontaneity and overall knowledge in the subject.
- Bonus points for asking relevant and non repetitive questions after the first round to the opponent teams.
