Overview

Plan B is a competition that serves as a platform for innovative ideas and projects that are related to technology. It is an event where one will be able to showcase their technical as well as marketing skills to a panel of judges with the hopes of receiving their virtual investment in your project/company. You do not have to be from a certain background to come forth and pitch your idea. Just be spontaneous, have fun and let your idea change the world. The one who gets the maximum virtual currency from the judges will win the battle.

Rules and Regulations

  • You can choose to enter as a sole individual or as a team.
  • The team should consist of a maximum of three members.
  • Each team will have to come up with an innovative idea.
  • The project although hypothetical, must be practical and each team will have to explain its functionality.
  • A list of raw materials to be used to build the idea will be given with a virtual pricing given to each item.
  • The teams will be given one hour to decide on the materials they want to use within their virtual budget reach.
  • 30 minutes to come up with an innovative idea which can be executed using the same. (no prototypes or working models)
  • Each participant or team will be given a total of 10 minutes to present your idea to the judges.
  • Each participant/team must prepare a presentation consisting of a maximum of 10 slides that explains your project.
  • Laptops will be allowed for this event.
  • Videos and statistical graphs in the presentation will be allowed (full creative liberty for the presentation)
  • The verdict of the Jury will be final in all cases.

Judging Criteria

  • The judging and the virtual investment will be done as per the following guidelines-
  • How strong your strategy is?
  • How innovative and creative your idea/concept is.
  • Feasibility of your product/business venture.
  • Your overall presentation
  • Bonus points to be given to the team that comes up with an idea related to "space and tech".
