The IEEE Women in Engineering, Kastoria organized a Coffee Talk on October 13, 2018 in D’oro Cafe. More than 3 teachers and students participated to the discussion.
First, the participants started by introducing each other. Then, they debated about the challenges facing women in STEM nowadays while enjoying sharing ideas, different opinions and experiences about this matter.
Second, WiE members talked about the objectives they wish to accomplish and the events they are planning to organize by the end of this year. So, they had the pleasure to take counseling from the guests and have better prospects for the role the WiE will play to help young women follow their dreams and become better contributors to their society.
Finally, the attendees discussed the presentation which comes on November at our University about “Women in computer science world”.
