Dr. Lillykutty Jacob, professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering department of NIT Calicut and  chairman of IEEE Malabar Subsection received the prestigious Prof. K. M. Bahauddin award  for Distinguished Engineering Teacher of Kerala 2016. She received the award from Padma Vibhhushan  Dr. E. Sreedharan in a ceremony on 26th January 2016 at Kakkanad.
