The Web Summit 3.0

The WIE (Women in Engineering) Section in collaboration with COLABS and Binance  organized The Web Summit 3.0 at COLABS on June 5, 2022. It was Pakistan’s First-ever in-person conference with Binance. Binance is the largest crypto exchange by trade volume and one of the fastest in the world.

About this Conference:

Web 3.0 is the next evolution of the Internet, and it’s coming in a big way. This isn’t something that will happen in the distant future rather it has already begun to roll out and will be fully established in upcoming years. In the wake of this evolution, we at COLABS with our ecosystem empowering initiative COGROW aim to equip our community with the latest technologies and The Web 3.0 Summit is in line with this goal.

This event focused on the future of crypto and how blockchain technologies helped to improve the adaption of cryptocurrencies, with a thorough analysis of how well other verticals of crypto like De-Fi, NFTs, Leveraged, and Swap Tokens will do in the future. The conference aimed to further the understanding of what’s happening in the blockchain space while helping them gain insight into this emerging industry.

Several collaborators assisted in orchestrating the conference, including Blockship, Stack Pakistan, Deaf to Tawk, Epiphany, Google Developer Groups Islamabad, Stacks Pakistan, Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors – Islamabad, Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors – Lahore and Think Connects.
