WIE@IEEE RTSI 2021

The annual meeting of the IEEE Italy Section Women In Engineering Affinity Group (WIE Italy) will be held on September 7 2021 during the IEEE RTSI 2021 6^th online Forum on Research and Technologies for Society and Industry Innovation for a smart world ( https://rtsi2021.ieeesezioneitalia.it/).

Due to the COVID-19 emergency, the conference will take place in virtual mode. Participation in the event is free of charge. Instructions for participation in the virtual meeting are available here.

Furthermore, after the success of the past editions, the IEEE Italy Section Women in Engineering Affinity Group presents the 4^th edition of GENEVA (Gender EqualIty iN rEsearch and innoVAtion), aimed to illustrate the best practices in managing “gender equality” within funded projects.

GENEVA 2021 (Gender Equality iN rEsearch and innoVAtion), is an opportunity to share best practices related to the management of gender aspects in funded research projects. Previous editions (GENEVA 2018, GENEVA 2019, GENEVA 2020) have had wide participation. Participate in GENEVA 2021 with your project!

As usual, the 2021 annual meeting of WIE Italy will focus on the WIE.steer2STEM.chart 2.0 created as an open document updated annually to collect objectives and actions to be taken in the short term to encourage and support women’s participation in STEM careers. We will share the activities and initiatives promoted during the past year in support of WIE.steer2STEM.chart 2.0 and we will update the chart together based on the objectives achieved and further proposals that will emerge from the discussion.
