We are excited to announce that the 2024 Nikola Tesla Award recipient is Prof. Aldo Boglietti, a Full Professor at the Department of Energy, Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy. Prof. Boglietti has been recognized for “his exceptional contributions to the magnetic and thermal modeling, design, and characterization of electrical machines.”

This prestigious award is given to only one deserving scientist each year, and the selection process considers several criteria, including impact on technology, inventive value, breadth of use, leadership, and quality of the nomination.
