News for IEEE IAS IDC: Happy New Year and New Slate of Officers

Dear Members of the Industrial Drives Committee,

Happy New Year!

I am happy to serve as the secretary of the IAS-IDC for the next two years. First, I would like to thank Mahesh for his outstanding contributions to the committee. I look forward to working with all of you and hopefully meeting you in person at conferences soon.

Message from the Past Chair, Mahesh Swamy

I would like to thank all of you for participating in the activities of the Committee and the support you have provided over these years to me and to the IDC Officers.

Starting January 1st the IDC Chair is Prof. Luca Zarri, I wish him all the success in leading the IDC Committee to a more popular and relevant part of the Industry Applications Society. 

Also, starting January 1st a new slate of officers will take over the IDC Committee.
