Our chapter supports the “Hong Kong Cyber Security New Generation Capture the Flag (CTF) Challenge 2021”, which is organising by HKCERT and HKPC and this is the 2nd year of the event. The information is as below:

Co-oganised by 6 education and cyber security experts, this online contest is one of the exciting and challenging cyber security game of its kinds. With the success of last year, this year we introduced an Open group in addition to the student groups, extending the coverage of this challenge to every Hong Kong resident! Even more, international teams will be invited to attend the Invitation Group and you may have chance to compare your achievement with them.

The CTF Challenge aims to arouse the cyber security awareness of the public and students, and to encourage problem solving with teamwork, cyber security skills and creative thinking via a fun game. Participants can learn web security, cryptography, forensic and reverse engineering, etc.. Gold, Silver and Bronze award will be presented in a Webinar and Award Presentation Ceremony. For those interested but has limited CTF experience, an online workshop by top Hong Kong CTF players will be held to show you the strategy, skills and tips.
