Prof. Yiorgos Tsiatouhas received his B.Sc. degree in Physics, M.Sc. degree in Electronic Automation, and Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics, from the University of Athens, Greece, in 1990, 1993 and 1999, respectively. From 1992 to 1996 he was with the National Center of Scientific Research (NCSR) Demokritos, Athens, Greece. From 1998 to 2002 he was with Integrated Systems Development (ISD) S.A. as a Cooperative Projects Director and Technical Manager of the Advanced Silicon Solutions Division. Since 2002 he serves at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina, Greece, today as a full professor.
His research interests include analog, digital and mixed signal integrated circuit design, low-voltage and low-power design, design for reliability and testability, memory and processing in memory design, as well as integrated systems security.
He is the main author or co-author in more than 140 papers in scientific journals and conferences as well as in two patents. He received the best paper awards of the IEEE International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED-2002) and IEEE International Symposium on Design and Diagnostics of Electronic Circuits and Systems (DDECS-2009). He is IEEE Senior Member and Member of the IEEE Test Technology Technical Council as well as the European Design Automation Association (EDAA).
