Jason received a BSEE from Michigan Technological University.

Topic #3 – Shaft Voltage Buildup on Operative Motors and the Adverse Effects on Operating Costs due to Bearing Failure

Abstract: The Presentation discusses the buildup of low amplitude shaft voltage for AC motors on variable frequency drives, and how the discharge of that shaft voltage causes early bearing failure.

Speaker: Ken Wegrzyn, National Sales Manager – Key OEM Accounts, Electro-Static Technology

Ken is the National Sales Manager for Electro-Static Technology, a division of ITW.  He is a field technical resource for the AEGIS® Shaft Grounding Ring product line in the Upper Midwest.  Prior to joining EST, Ken was a Mechanical Engineer and Product Manager for Panduit Corp of Tinley Park, IL for 11 years.  Ken received a BSME from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
