The IEEE GRSS Wuhan Student Branch Chapter, in conjunction with the IEEE GRSS Wuhan Chapter, successfully hosted the 2024 IEEE GRSS China Chapter Chiar Meeting(Autumn).

The China Chapter Chair Meeting was attended by Dr. Mariko Burgin, the President of IEEE GRSS, Professor Saibun Tiuatja, GRSS Executive VP, Professor Jun Li, Editor-in-Chief of IEEE JSTARS, Professor Hanwen Yu, Mr. Hua Ning, Senior Business Director of IEEE Asia-Pacific, Yan Wen, Project Manager at the IEEE Beijing Representative Office, and representatives from various IEEE GRSS chapters and student branches in China. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Tao Chen, the Chair of the IEEE GRSS Wuhan Chapter.

Dr. Mariko Burgin delivered a welcome address, followed by presentations from Professor Saibun Tiuatja and Mr. Hua Ning on the development of IEEE GRSS and IEEE in China, respectively. Attendees discussed the current status and future work plans of local IEEE GRSS chapters and engaged in extensive discussions on the future development of IEEE GRSS in China.
